Alive
We had a baby last November, moved, got new jobs, and have found a church body that we are thrilled to be a part of. We're working our hineys off, and every day we're evident that our dependence is on the Lord. It's midnight and I've been up and down with Noah about 4 times already. I suspect this will be a long night, so I'll make the most of it and peek my head in to say Hello. I'm reading about all of you, and praying for you, but you don't hear from me that much. I'm sorry.
5 days a week, I'm watching between 5 and 6 children ages 4 and under from my home, from 6:30-6pm. Long days. Nights are spent taking care of my own family.... busy, but good.
We're in a small group, and I try to meet with women to stay connected. I also have some young girls over a few times a week to help me out with special projects. Nathan is still meeting with a few guys every Wednesday morning before sunrise to pray, confess sin and get real with scripture. We have early mornings and late nights, and we're tired a lot, but it is a very sweet time.
Grace will begin school next year. I'd like to try to homeschool her, but right now, I'm overwhelmed with the many other children we have in the home. I'm a bit discouraged on that front, but I know that I need to recognize that I cannot do it all, and that there are well trained teachers out there that are much more creative than I.
I think that's all I have time for. Noah is squealing again.
